Kanazawa University is the third oldest university in Japan, founded in 1949, and one of the region’s major institutions of higher education. Today, it comprises three colleges which are  College of Human and Social Sciences, College of Science and Engineering, and College of Medical Pharmaceutical and Health Sciences, also 17 schools, five graduate schools, a university hospital, a cancer research institute and other units.


Kanazawa University also has Career Support Office that aims to help students achieve their individual career goals. Career Support Office offers a variety of career planning events and placement support services for students.
