The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts has provided education in the arts for more than 250 years, playing its part in the development of the art of Denmark. KADK provides 3 main areas of education: architecture, design and conservation, spread across 7 departments.
The teaching at the academy is a combination of lectures, workshops, excursions, individual tutoring and other things.
The teaching is undertaken by a staff of professors and lecturers, many of them internationally-based high profiled visual artists. In addition, large numbers of artistic and academic guest lecturers from inside and outside Denmark come to teach and to undertake tutorials and studio visits.
