The University of Maryland, College Park is a huge public exploration college situated in the city of College Park, on the upper east line of Washington, DC. Established in 1856, understudies can browse in excess of 90 undergrad majors across 12 universities, plan their own educational plan through the Self-Studies Program, or join up with a few pre-graduate projects at the same time. The most mainstream fields are sociology, business and design. "30 Days of Entrepreneurship," a program that has given more than $250,000 for the finest ideas and inventions, has an annual research budget of about $550 million. Three Nobel Prize winners and three Pulitzer Prize winners are among the 56 members of the UM faculty. Students can pick from more than 150 clubs and student groups, as well as more than 30 Greek chapters, to fill their free time. It's also a school that's excelled in athletics. It is one of only two institutions that have won football, men's and women's basketball national titles.

In order to be admitted as a freshman or a transfer student, international candidates must satisfy certain criteria. For a complete list of all needed items, consult the international practice checklist, and submit all application materials together. A student's TOEFL/IELTS results, national education system, and type of institution attended will also be taken into account by an admissions committee. A completed application does not require you to provide a visa, financial certificate, or other foreign supporting papers; but, if you are admitted to the institution, you will be required to do so.
So that your needed immigration paperwork may be provided, make sure to include all of your legal name and any supporting documentation that appears on your passport on your application form. Documents such as photos, audio recordings, or writing samples are not required. Neither the University nor its staff will be responsible for storing or maintaining them. Graduate students and the more than 230 programs they are enrolled in are associated with the University of Maryland. There are around 70,000 postgraduate students, of whom 4,600 are engaged in doctorate programs, 2,200 in standard and professional master's programs, and close to 700 students who do not yet have a bachelor's degree but are enrolled in postgraduate courses or certificate programs. Among graduate students, over 40% are international students, while almost 50% are female and 20% are minority students.
