The University of Wisconsin is the Madison UW system's flagship university, recognized for its strong academics, athletics, and vast student activities. The public research university was founded in 1848 in Wisconsin and is presently situated on a 936-acre campus between Lake Mendota and Lake Monona. Wisconsin has eight faculties that provide a total of 232 undergraduate degrees. The most popular departments are biological and biomedical sciences, engineering, and business.
The school provides numerous grants for projects in economic development and scientific education, as well as the opportunity to collaborate on research projects with its top academics and academic staff. Transcripts are necessary for all levels of study. Official transcripts from your previous school must be delivered directly to you. Transcripts must be provided electronically using a secure document submission provider. E-mail attachments will not be considered official attachments. Transcripts delivered to the office must have an official school seal or be printed on special watermark/security paper provided by the institution.
Scores from the ACT or SAT are necessary, and they must be sent directly from the testing provider. In addition, unless the medium of instruction is English, freshmen candidates from non-English speaking nations must provide TOEFL or IELTS scores for all courses in all secondary school years.

All candidates must additionally answer to the following prompt: Explain why you want to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Also, include any academic, extracurricular, or research possibilities available to you as a student. A letter of recommendation from someone who can attest to your academic abilities, such as a teacher, school counselor, or faculty member, should be sent. You can also include a letter of recommendation from a third party, such as an employer, coach, research officer, community leader, or priest, if you desire.
Additional supporting papers, such as self-reported grades, affirmations of academic achievement, and course change paperwork, may be needed even after your application is complete.
