The UK government, research authorities, finance, and industry organizations have also acknowledged the school as a pioneer in entrepreneurship, innovation, and research. Bristol was ranked "world-leading" and "internationally outstanding" by 83 percent of respondents in the 2014 Research Excellence Framework survey.
Chemistry, Engineering, Computer Science, Dentistry, Economics, English, Geography, Geology, Mathematics, Politics, and Veterinary Medicine are also in the top ten.
