Dalarna University College is a public university located in Falun and Borlänge, in Dalarna County, Sweden. Dalarna University is one of Sweden’s more recent institutions of higher education, established in 1977. In Sweden, DU is known for being the leader in integrating technology and new pedagogy within education. The university also offers master’s programmes in business, data science, sustainable tourism, energy efficient buildings, material science and economics. Each year, the university has close to 400 international students from over 50 countries enrolled to study on campus. Moreover, in 2015, the university had 16,344 students, with 11,642 of them studying via distance education.
