Near East University

Near East University is a higher education institution established in Nicosia with the approval of the Council of Ministers in accordance with the Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı (National Education Law) No. 17/1986 of the Ministry of National Education of the TRNC in 1988, and has a high level of educational facilities and an international identity with its competent teaching staff. Near East University is a member of the International Union of Engineering Education (IGIP), the Internationally Recognized Medical Accreditation System (JCI), the European Union of Universities (EUA), the World University Union in the UNESCO (IAU), the Islamic World Universities Federation (FUIW) It is a full member of 118 national and international organizations. The Near East University, which is structured within a contemporary campus area, is equipped with all faculties, schools, institutes, hospital laboratories, workshops, computer centers, cultural centers, libraries, dormitories, Olympic indoor swimming pool and other social and sportive facilities and the Near East Kindergarten, Near East Preschool, Near East Elementary School and Near East College. Near East University is located on the campus of YDU-IBM Advanced Research Centers. It has 6 institutes, 2 colleges, 4 vocational high schools, 16 masters and associate degree programs with 16 faculties, 220 undergraduate and associate degree programs. together with vocational colleges and 28 research centers, provide outstanding students with the best education and training environment; is to train Atatürk principles and revolutions as insolent individuals who have a basic aim, self-confident, responsibility over everything, taking into account their social and historical values, rational, creative and free thinking. and the educational institution has developed at an extraordinarily rapid pace in the relatively short period of time and has become Cyprus's largest educational and cultural center.
