Niğde University was established as a state university in Niğde with the vision of being a university with a competitive power in the fields of science and technology. There are 9 faculties, 3 institutes, 3 vocational schools, 6 colleges, 1 state conservatory, 4 department chairs under the rectorate, 1 career development center, 9 research and application centers and 1 permanent education center where 23,900 students are located, staff are on duty.
