Suan Dusit University

Throughout the past 70 years of transition from Home Science Secondary School to Suan Dusit Rajabhat University, the University’s unique identities have been continuously developed from its strong academic foundation in accordance with the changing environment of the academic world. The University identities were derived from its outstanding primary areas of expertise which have been accepted by both the national and international communities. These areas of expertise include Culinary Arts, Early Childhood Education, Service Industry, and Nursing and Health Sciences, which are all well prepared to satisfy local and social demands. Based on the key roles of creation of new innovation, application of appropriate technology, and using its own leadership management style, the Suan Dusit Culture was exclusively built on six distinguished qualities: good personality, new knowledge and new innovation development, self-discipline, open-mindedness, technology utilization, neat and orderly task completion, as well as knowledgeable ability. Consequently, all of these qualities lead to the current identity known as “Suan Dusit” and form an important foundation for future development.
