The University of Rzeszów is a state university located in Rzeszów, Poland. It was officially established in 2001 by combining several older institutions in the city. The University offers a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, specialist training, supplementary training, and adult education. Students free to choose from the 12 main disciplines: agronomy, archeology, biology, decorative art, history, literature, linguistics, medicine, pedagogy, sociology, physics, philosophy and economy. University implements professional courses preparing students to modern labour market, prepares teaching staff to modern education system, including education system of European countries and offers the education on highest European level.
