Nort Carolina State University: A Quick Review

The Institution of North Carolina at Raleigh (NC State) is a public research university in Raleigh, North Carolina. In 1887, NC State was established with the purpose of fostering economic, social, and intellectual prosperity. It is now a major research organization in the fields of science, technology, engineering, mathematics, design, humanities and social sciences, textiles, and veterinary medicine. The institution is divided into 12 colleges, each of which has 65 academic departments and offers over 300 undergraduate and graduate degrees. On-campus, NC State has 70 club sports programs, one varsity team, and over 600 student organizations. In this approach, the institution allows its students to spend quality time with one another.

North Carolina Campus

The main campus is split into three areas and is known for its unique red-brick structures. The North Campus is the university's oldest section and is home to the majority of its academic departments. A cafeteria, gymnasiums, and student support centers are located on the Main Campus. The Greek Court, the McKimmon Conference and Education Center, and student park-and-run spaces are all located on the South Campus. The Centennial Campus, which spans 1,334 acres, the Centennial Biomedical Campus, and the North Carolina Research Campus are among the other NC State campuses.

East Campus gives students the option of living in Residence Halls, Suites, or Apartments. These halls are coed facilities with single, double, and private rooms available. Aggie Terrace is a co-ed apartment complex (Junior, Senior & Graduate students only) Aggie Suites are designed in a suite-style format. Suite Style in the Hall of Fame.

Residence Halls on the North Campus

Traditional and Suite-style living is available to students living on campus at the North Campus Residence Halls. These halls are conveniently located near the North Campus Residence Halls, Student Halls, Aggie Stadium, and Corbett Sports Center, making it easy to attend campus student events. Suite Style by Alex Haley Hall Suite Style at Aggie Village 1,3,4 & 6 (Blair, McCain, McNeil, and Richmond Halls) Cooper Hall is a traditional dormitory for only male students.

Residence Halls on the South Campus

Traditional communal living is available in the South Campus Residence Halls. These lounges are single-gender establishments with double rooms. Suite Style Barbee Hall Curtis Hall is a traditional female-only residence. Holland Hall is a traditional female-only home. Morrison Hall is a traditional female-only residence. Morrow Hall is a traditional female-only house. Vanstory Hall is a traditional home.
