Georgetown University is a private university founded in 1789. The university is near to the heart of Washington, D.C. The school provides a vast variety of accommodation options, and first-year students are welcome to live on campus. Other students opt to live near the school in townhouses and apartments. Religious organizations, media outlets, and student government are among the student organizations on campus. Many undergraduate, graduate, and vocational schools, as well as elite positions, may be found at Georgetown.
